Songs on Conceptual Art. Featuring 35 songs by different artists inspired by sentences of Sol Lewitt. Great info here: http://www.songsonconceptualart.com/about/
Thanks for doing this. It’s really awesome. Also, thanks for bringing back a great memory I have of seeing Karl Blau and Rob Walmart in Eugene at one of the first good house shows i attended in high school. It was fucking rad. I wonder if I still have that Marriage Records comp somewhere. It had really cool packaging I remember… Maybe someone out there has it, and I’ll meet up with them to borrow it and they’ll say “Marriage, is what brings us together today.” … (http://youtu.be/Sbqv3MwwVd8)
But seriously. Songs on Conceptual Art. This is a great project that I’m super down with. Get it on double LP June 1st!
Get stoked, y’all! RSVP! Tell your budz :)

So, I’ve been really bad about keeping track of this in the past. But right now I’m on kind of a streak of going to shows, so I figure I should record it before I forget. Here’s a list of all the shows I’ve been to this month. I can’t remember what I was doing the 1st, 2nd, 6th or 7th, but it was obviously something dumb.

An awesome lil comp of now defunct Portland bands by Prescription Pills. Via Into The Woods. (intothewoods.tv)
Can’t seem to like this album more than I already do. Every time anyone is ever in the car when I’m playing this always asks about it and jamz out hard. “They’re really called Gross Magic?”
“Yeah, and the album is called ‘TEEN JAMZ’”.
“Woah.”
I’ve had that conversation probably 10 times.
