Reblogging this from the current Artistic Director for PDX Pop Now! It’s a great reference and a cool look at the last few years of Portland music. Thanks for all your hard work, Nick!

I’ve considered shutting this blog down after a few months of inactivity. However, I’m about to end a six year experience volunteering for PDX Pop Now! so I decided to utilize this digital platform to at least mark some interesting facts and thoughts on my experience.
I’ve served as a Festival Volunteer, Booking Committee Member, Fundraising & Sponsorship Coordinator, Board Coordinator, Administrative Director, Booking Coordinator and Artistic Director in my time on the board. Next week we will hold our ninth annual, free, and all-ages festival at RefugePDX. It will also be my final event as a board member for PDX Pop Now!
For my first installment I thought I’d post a list of every band or artist that has performed at one of our events or submitted a track for our annual compilation since 2004. I’ve probably seen 75% to 80% of them live. It’s been quite a 6 year run!
